I have the 'New International Version Bible' aka the NIV. It's not necessarily the edition that you need to specialise in though. The thing at the back with keys to certain topics is called a concordance and i think they do concordance versions of most Bible editions...you just need to check it's there before you buy it! (I'm going to assume your Bible has maps and conversion tables in).
Thinking about it, i think we may have a couple of 'King James' Bibles in the house as well. I know me on my little-ownsome own 5 NIV edition Bibles. (hehehe - not too many!) I think we have at least 15 in the house....
