Thanks for the info! No, my Bible does not have maps or conversion tables. Little introductions to specific sections and a contents page with abbrevations but that is pretty much it.
I broached the subject to my Dad and said I should check out the the Catholic shop next to the Catherdarl in Cardiff - they will have Bible's approved by The Holy See.
