So I watched '3 x 17 - Sunday' of Stargate Atlantis last night (the one that's just aired in Canada), and without spoiling the episode, all i have to say about it is: I haven't cried watching an episode of Stargate since Daniel died in Season 5. I'm quite an emotional person, and i do tend to empathise - when someone is upset, i get upset (even if it's just a soap), and i'll admit i cry very easily...i was close to tears watching '3 x 14 - Tao of Rodney' the other week. But 'Sunday'? Broke. my. heart. I don't think i'll be able to watch the last half of that ever again. Well, except the part with (Highlight for slight spoiler) John talking to Teyla in his dress blues *drools* (with the sound turned off - because i can't listen to the subject).  But no. Never again.

And in other news: this whole Celebrity Big Brother debacle. It's like a car accident - you don't want to look, but you can't turn away. Every year i tell myself 'i wont watch it', and i always do. This has to be the worst series of it ever though. I sit there watching it in shock over the behaviour of Jade and her cronies - i feel SO sorry for Shilpa in there. I'm just glad she has people she can talk to in there, even if they don't stick up for her. And just to be really shallow - doesn't Dirk Benedict look great for 61? I would have thought he was early 50's - not 60's.

E.T.A Spoilers in comments.

Okay, what the earth is happening in Atlantis? Don't worry about spoilering (is that even a word? *curious*) me as I don't actually watch the programme. Anyway, curiousity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. *g*

We don't watch Big Brother but when we heard Dirk Benedict was there we did tune in to catch a look at him. The poor man is wondering what the human race has come to. Dirk - you are far too intelligent to be there. The debacle was on the news and paper so we caught it too. Despair for hummanity Rae...

Anyway ... did you hear? We get the Military Academy! Yahoo!

Right.

Now I just need to get your present ... and borrow it later. *cough* *wide, innocent eyes* What? Weekends also work best for me Rae I have to say. It depends on whether you want to come here or go into town. If we were going to meet at my house it could only be a Friday as my Mum works the first part of the week or the weekend.

I'm not free next weekend (brother is back for a long weekend - Fri-Sun).

Perhaps 1st week of Feb sometime?

What's happening in Atlantis? Hmm...lemme see. Well - they killed off Carson. And it was very, very, very, sad. They had a closing scene with McKay talking to a possibly imaginary Carson about how Carson's funeral went, which was just so heartbreaking. Just thinking about that one scene in particular brings tears to my eyes. So, so, so much emotion in that scene...and the funeral/memorial was sad enough. Bleugh.

Don't think i can do that weekend, as we are still possibly maybe doing the Pegasus Gate 2 convention. (Yes...it still isn't decided.) At the moment it seems like everyone except my mum is coming. But obviously, if i'm not, then it'll be fine.

And yes you can borrow the book *winks*.

Man it's windy today!

CARSON? Killed? But I liked him!

Hmmm ... have fun if you go!

As for further into Feb I can't efinitley say until we settle on a possible weekend. It also depends on what we will be doing. If we want to come here then I can easily picky you up in the car as I'll have access to it on the weekend.

Thank you for letting me borrow the book. *wink*
