Babies

So today i went round Fatima and Amjad's to meet their 5 day old son.

I completely forgot how small and light babies are. *Sighs* He was just so cute, and he smelled really nice and babyish. They don't have a name for him yet, but it will probable be Rizik, since Arabic tradition is to name the first born son after the fathers' father. Fatima isn't very keen on having an Arabic name for her son, especially when she wants to call him Joseph John, but I told Fatima it reminded me of Vin Diesel's character "Riddick" from "Pitch Black" and "Chronicles of Riddick", rather than an Arabic name, so I think that amused her. (Well, she laughed.)

But i ended up holding him for well over 2 hours to give Fatima a chance to sort out her room...and he slept the entire time. He is a very good baby...and did i mention cute?

I love children - i really, really do :o)

I've never spent much time with babies, but I recently met my cousin's five month old twins. It was quite amazing. I was glad when I could give them back though!

Also, I just thought I'd let you know I've set up a new community, glaciology.

Lol - i really do love children, but yeah, it is nice to be able to switch off from them when you hand them back over to their parents!

heh. I love kids! You love cats! We should be singing i'm a little teapot! lol

Off to see Narnia with Becky and Danny tomorrow. Seeing as i wasn't that keen on the HP film, that is a big relief knowing it will be better! Still not my favourite Narnia story though....

Oh yeah...i'm working on the update of the new HP character list :o)
