New Year

Well...two days into the New Year and things in my life are already interesting.

Slight disagreements are never fun in work, especially when you are one of the involved parties. But 24 hours later, and i'm still really annoyed about things...and the more i think about it, the angrier i get.

On the other hand, Christmas was great, New Year was good, and on the whole, 2005 went a lot better than 2004. Now that my health is finally getting back on track, my life is starting to settle down, with work, courses, primary school reading, and a newly developed social life. (me?)

I have posted more in this journal this year than last year, reviewed more stories, met new people...so i guess my last years resolution for LJ has been met.

I'm still rubbish at replying to emails (lori_dee, i will reply to that email you sent me months ago), and the story i'm writing hasn't really progressed much in this last year. But i brought a writing journal today, and decided that i will write 100 words of something every day for this year. Which will give me 36500 words eventually. Mwah.

And oh! A new Claimed story is up. And seeing that seriously made up for all the badness i felt about work yesterday.

I need a McShep icon.

Happy New Year to you to! Did you have a good christmas? What did you do for the new year?

I couldn't help noticing that you were planning on coming down to Cardiff to see Harry Potter with your friends...did you do that? Which cinema did you go to? (I live near Cardiff...so am curious as to what you did...call me nosy if you will :o) )

Hey,
We met up in Cardiff but ended up going to see King Kong instead (pet_lunatic and I had already bullied poor old ngshake into going to see Harry Potter once, and he couldn't handle it again) and we went to the cinema at the Millennium Stadium. We also wandered round the city centre a bit, although mainly this was from one pub to the next...
Some time in the summer we're going to come over for the day and look round the castle.

Things like that in work don't usually bother me, and it's just so petty, but the fact that it's coming from a friend and isn't even true has bothered me a lot more than i thought it would.

Hey...you know, you posting has just reminded me what else has made my year so far...you and thenotoriousso4 writing more Seamus and Dean together over at greatest journal! Seriously...there was major squeeing over that fact :o)

Have you tried Sims 2 yet? Not that i endorse cheating of any sort *cough* but i know money cheats if you need them (shame they dont work in real life). Is copilot feeling any better?

I have a similar situation going on, actually. Or probably not similar, but something that makes me want to take you out for tea so we can just chat. ♥

And, oh, yay!! She and I are having a really good time there - and things have just gotten weird between them. :x I've organized all of Seamus's RP's in his memories if that's helpful. You can read by character or by month. Month might make more sense. ;)

Oh, and no I haven't tried it yet! I may indeed come to you for some of those cheats. *cough*
